Pumpkin carving @ MIT

It’s that time again!  In anticipation of Halloween, the department was devoted to pumpkins and the carving thereof on October 30:  our annual Linguistics pumpkin carve.

Retreat 9/30

The first-ever Linguistics Retreat was held at Endicott House this past Saturday! Activities featured a hike at Wilson Mountain Reservation, indoor games, a showing of Tenet, soccer, and badminton. See photos below. 

Thanks to all the organizers —- Shrayana, Bergül, Cooper, Danny, Suzanne —- who made this a great day! 

 

Whale-watching

To celebrate memorial day and the end of the semester, we went whale-watching! Thanks to Christopher Legerme for the wonderful pictures of exh(some) who were present!
